Club Furies

After a hot debut, comes the second release from the new Mexican label Mexxita, led by our beloved Pvlomo. Ali X — the gentleman of the new Mexican techno, co-creator of Controlla, and part of the mythical Azari & III — makes his debut on Mexxita with Senguele, which he also presents in collaboration with Nessa —a mysterious artistic project. A Latin techno bomb, with all the essence of what is currently happening in the electronic music scene. This is the second volume of Mexxita by Ali X and Nessa, recorded in the Karoukian trip, On the Road.

A hard-hitting track, combined with stylish multi sounds, which can be mixed from 100 to 150 beats per minute. Alongside the original track are two hot-fire remixes. One is presented by Mexxita‘s boss, Pvlomo, who imbues it with a techno touch with a trap that goes in and out and closes with tropical elements. While Diego Walle — a 22-year-old DJ and house music producer based in Mexico City — imbues it with more clubbing, acid, and bassy elements, taking it to other sonic dimensions.

Original mix Senguele is sonorous fire accompanied by explicit lyrics that grow in speed, heat, and delirium. A direct call to the heat of the dance floor and its sensual dancing bodies, which promise to sweat to the rhythm of the track. An unstoppable rhythm that goes completely crazy as the dancer quickly becomes a prisoner of its sound, tied to its rhythms and suddenly devilish. In the end, the peaks have to give way, so that the rhythm and sound decrease until silence is reached.

Fortunately, this is just the beginning. Pvlomo modulates the lyrics, imbuing them with another tone, which runs parallel to the originals, distorted and crushed to take us to abandoned factories and stolen churches, those places of the rave. This means that this is the plan. This time in Mexican raves, not British or American. Not only that but a sonorous parenthesis is opened that makes a place to trap techno in a spectacular sonorous bubble. After that, the rhythm gets faster and faster. At the end, the vocals call the DJ to do his thing.

Diego Walle continues the rave of the previous sound, only late at night, at dawn, that sweet moment when all people become a single mass and a single ear, where sweat, sensuality, and perception become one with the sound. After unstoppable speeds and beats that lasted a second, it’s time to impose calm again; that is, the night has become day and it’s time to restart and start all over again.

We are in front of an EP that in its entirety has everything to get the party crazy and create “what a fuck?” moments while our smile is bigger than the sound and our eyes wider than the dance floor. A second release that continues to forge the young but unstoppable path of Mexxita, this time led by Ali X and Nessa, with the interpretative contributions of boss Pvlomo and Diego Walle.
