At the end of last year, a new techno project emerged, based on one of the pillars of this music and of electronic music in general. Unknown Archives began its journey through the techno scene with its Various Artists first compilation whose sine qua non quality is anonymity. This means that each song must be listened to, not read or seen by its author. This seeks to create a fixation in the sensations caused, without fixations that the name of an artist can transmit. In short, it is about that utopian world of music to which it must be listened. “No names, just music focused on the underground scene with experimental and groovy elements that will introduce you to our concept”.
Now, after this first compilation and El Bosque de los Suicidas, Unknown Archives returns to present the second volume of their Various Artists compilations. From alien lands, lost astronauts, and future times that have become present times, the sound awakens, emerges, and positions itself strongly. Between deliriums of the underworld and cries for help drowned in throbbing techno, the listener prostrates himself attentive and on the edge of the abyss.
The abyss is the unknown; and the unknown is what triggers that abyss. So everything becomes a loop of unknown/abyss/unknown, whereby sound is the only thing we identify. Therefore, words must fade away and be pushed aside. Only the noise of the machines made electronic and techno tracks should shine and prostrate in the center and cover everything with bright, metallic, and dense atmospheres.
