Club Furies

In its latest releases, Trucking Records has been on a quest, in search of its sound. By pushing the boundaries, looking for talents to shape the future and expand its catalog; also evolving the aesthetic design, which has started its transformation since the Momente EP by Arzax and Kevin Villa.

Then came Piero Ceraolo’s Fiebre EP, which was followed by a magnificent Various Artists Compilation, entitled Elements. From purple to blue and orange, the colors.

Now, in the midst of bright blues and grey backgrounds, the new release from the Buenos Aires-based label emerges. It is the project of the artist Vica, Avrill. It features an extended play, titled Red, whose sounds are aligned to the hypnotic, amidst enveloping percussion. An original track and remixes by Franco Rossi and Zoffoli.

Club Furies presents the premiere performance by Franco Rossi, disc jockey and producer from Cordoba, Argentina, half of ROTWANG; trouble starter, and Punkin instigator.

The original mix runs amidst razor-sharp swords and finely crafted crystals, whereas the Techno is delicate, almost velvety. Franco Rossi‘s remix is subtly affecting.

The Techno mallets that hit the sound build relentless yet tender spirals of sound. It is an ambivalence between the harshness of Techno and the finesse with which it is constructed. Energetic bulbs impose a pause that simultaneously serves to enhance the sound.

After the valley of sophisticated destruction that has been brought into play, the decibels drop. After the original mix and Franco Rossi‘s remix, it remains to be seen what Zoffoli brings.
