Club Furies

Clarté is a sample of ambient sounds that take us through different sonic depths and emerge in a different musical human consciousness. It is a divine musicalisation that takes us through modern soundscapes, focusing on different artistic creations in which the main sound is Ambient. After two extraordinary releases, one led by the Japanese Rei and the other by the mysterious project titled Nudo, the triad arrives.

Ópalo is the side project of DJ and producer Alejandro Romero, better known as Amalgama. The idea behind the project is to create a space for experimentation and exploration of genres including ambient, downtempo, and trip-hop. To stamp his music on Clarté, he presents Imaginary Soundscapes, a work of four original tracks – No Deal, Los Joacos, Interlude, and Café Libro. This work lands where dreams are created, the sound is composed and the soul shines in every element that makes us reach a different state and a deep atmosphere.

No Deal is the first CL003 track in the catalog. This kind of music has always seemed to me to fit into those concepts whose words idyll, ineffable, and ethereal mean. However, at the same time, at first glance, dense and full of meaning concepts can be ambiguous. For the sensation evoked by the idyll or the nothingness to which the ineffable, as well as the invisibility of the ethereal, are lost in nothingness. In being everything they become nothing.

However, if we listen attentively to No Deal, the sensations emerge faintly, subtly, and delicately, leading us to the sensation of complete happiness – idyll. Moreover, the intensity of these sensations, made possible by the sound design, is so profound that it is impossible to explain it in words – ineffable – for it cannot be otherwise when the sound of music is what fills our perception. If we cannot express in words what we perceive of sound, we reach the impalpable, the sublime, the abstract – the ethereal. The whole may be nothing, but it is nothing in the terrain of the language of words; in the world of perception, those words are everything.
