Katnada is an Albanian-born DJ and producer, currently based in Milan, Italy. After discovering music as a panacea for her soul, Katnada has devoted her entire being to music composition as a means to reach higher truths. His musical journey began in his youth when, as a self-taught pianist, she began spontaneously composing piano pieces, a deeply cathartic practice that laid the foundation for his lifelong devotion to music.

Over time, she developed a deep interest in electronic music and the endless opportunities it offers to convey specific emotions. When creating music, she often draws inspiration from the realm of hazy, utopian dreams and the revelatory sensations they evoke. This can be seen in her new release on Diffuse Reality Records, entitled Extase. Composed of five original tracks and a remix by Stephen Disario, Empty Space track is at the core of the release.

Ecstasy is a state of exaltation or suspension of the senses brought about by a feeling of religion, joy, or awe. How to achieve this state? In life, in many ways. Among these, we can find the art of sound. More particularly, the recent work of the Italian on the Spanish label. An empty space can be a condition to get to that state.

To reach ecstasy, the emotional palette may need to be cleared of obstacles blocking the way to that state. This is perhaps why the sound of this track is smooth and clean, undaunted and unperturbed. Nothing can divert it from its path. In that way it runs on very well-established sonic rails, with hardly any disturbances in the rhythm, progressively reaching the vicinity of that longed-for sensation. After that, the rhythm grows excitingly and gives us an account of the sonorous transition.

From the sound void, not because of the absence of sound, but because of the cleanliness of it, to the full sound: completeness, calm, mediated acceleration, actualized nostalgias, peaceful and attainable futures, velvety dances. The track blurs into silence, granting the possibility of complete ecstasy, to be achieved in the following tracks. It is a powerful and complex sound canvas, created in layers that overlap in a sophisticated and delicate way, to reach a delicate ethereal phase that can take us to that desired state. Without a doubt, Katnada continues to evolve as a music producer, and what better place to show it than on Diffuse Reality Records.
