Club Furies

Three forces from Northern Mexico collide in the independent electronic music label based in Berlin, Germany. Founded in 2017 by Madd Rod, Inner Shah Recordings presents Atrapado, an original track by Vleks and Chinosynth, well known in the Mexican Indie Dance and Dark Disco electronic scene. In addition, the original mix is completed with a remix by another Sinaloan. Technicism on remix duties is in charge.

Technicism is the alter ego of César López, a talented producer and DJ from Culiacán, Sinaloa, Mexico. His passion for electronic music and his ability to fuse diverse styles have earned him recognition on the local and international scene.

The original track brings together many sonorous strings in the form of outrageous guitars – in the best sense of the word – with precise strands of electricity and electronica. While the vocals are surgical, sound-enhancing, and dance-enhancing. This results in scores within the track that keep the listener/dancer on their toes. 

The remix of Atrapado creates an enveloping atmosphere that immerses the listener in a unique experience. The offbeat basses, typical of Technicism‘s style, provide an unmistakable rhythm that elevates the energy of the song to surprising levels. The carefully selected acid synths become the sine qua non of the remix, providing bold textures and futuristic melodies. Thus elevating the listening experience to new heights.

Technicism obliterates any shimmering subtlety in the atmosphere, covering it with rhythmic darkness and sharp brass. This plunges us into raves and underground parties, under which dancing is ritualized. The vocals also plunge into demonic ultratombs, where the smell of sophisticated metal is electrified and distorted, taking the night to hell. All the while, mesmerized, acid lightning cracks the floor, cracking it.

The rhythm has to stop, and it does. However, it only does so to definitely open the doors to the other side of the world. For the regular ravers, you know that this means the moment of fusion between sound and body: in sound, they become one. Excellent transition that enhances the qualities of the original mix; as well as creating a distinct whole that in itself claims some of the decks of the electronic night.

With technical mastery and palpable passion, Technicism has managed to reinvent Atrapado into a unique and immersive piece that not only respects the original essence but takes it to unexplored and exciting places.
