Mysterious and provocative, as their name suggests, Humanoid Gods push the boundaries of the techno sound. Their music is characterized by dark, powerful, and distorted sounds, with rhythms ranging from classic techno to breakbeat and acid. Humanoid Gods’ approach is unique, and their mysterious and intriguing personality makes it all the more captivating. With his ability to explore the frontiers of sound, through his art, Humanoid Gods invites us to embark on an experimental journey, exploring unexplored sonic territories and embracing the dark emotions of techno music.

One of the places where the artist can manifest his art is the Spanish platform Diffuse Reality Records, which is characterized by exceptional curation and unparalleled artistic openness. That’s where they land this time to present Seven Races, a work composed of seven original tracks. If we pay attention to each of the titles of the tracks that compose it, we see that they refer to the seven types of extraterrestrials that exist in the semantics of ufology.

Among them are the Pleiadians, the Nordic aliens (also known as ‘space brothers’), a supposed extraterrestrial race described by some people who claim to have been contacted by them. Amidst ambient sounds, fleeting as they are bright, beings rise up, equally sharp and thin. Quickly the sound electrifies and metallises with radiant, clean rhythms, leading us into breakbeat.

It’s time to turn to the semantics of X-Files, who have always told us «The truth is out there». And the sound reaches notes as fine and delicate as some of the famous series about aliens. The atmospheres of the sound are also fresh and light, utopian and futuristic, and perfectly designed with quite a lot of freshness and playfulness. The sound quickly leaves us in the dark. It’s time to listen to the whole album and look up in search of answers; and maybe also to our side -for they are among us-.
