Guadalajara, Jalisco-based label Krater Music presents their new release. Followed by a masterful gem, the constant search for unique sounds around Latin American culture continues. This time is called Zabdarez, a fascinating odyssey of the visionary master of electronic music Enfaxxyss. An embarkation into an ethereal journey through the pulsating realms of techno, where the raw essence of formal techno meets futuristic innovation. Two original tracks are the subject of this work, Terraqueo, and the eponymous track.
With an unwavering commitment to precision, this extended play has been meticulously crafted. It fuses it enviable ease otherworldly atmospheres with the stark charm of industrial rhythms. In doing so, he succeeds in sculpting a sonic marvel that redefines the contours of contemporary Mexican techno.
Terrestrial is an adjective that alludes to that which belongs to or relates to the Earth, such as earthy, foe example. The sound of this track is heard on sandy earth with an intense brown color that seems damp. Palpitating ipso facto, it raises the little dust that can be released from the humidity of this earth. The sound design changes the atmospheres now perched on lunar grounds. The terrestrial has transitioned to the alien.
Behind that veil, where the earthy becomes alien, the sound becomes incandescent, but a quality mediated by terse bulbs and alarms that keep it reticent. The earthy still doesn’t want to stop being earthy. The rhythm becomes hypnotic and narcotic – perhaps it wants to take refuge in our psyche that has been manacled by it. An impressive song, which manages to transition between rhythms and atmospheres in the same sound structure track, with changes that remain coherent and parallel to Enfaxxyss‘ sound design.
