Club Furies

The label curated by Raver’s Diary, Kepler Live Records, brings back the producer from Algarve (Portimão), PEIX. After Brute Psychology from 2021 and with several remixes for 1X1X, Seventh Sea, Raver’s Diary, Van Der, Toria, and Tryangle. Almost three years later, more mature and at the top of his game, PEIX returns for the first Kepler Live release of 2024 and the 23rd stripe in the catalog. A powerful album entitled Neo Prasag, composed of three original tracks.

PEIX began his journey in 2008 as a DJ, with great experience, always bringing the audience to delirium with every performance. Dedicated to music production, he works to improve and surprise his own ability efficiently, creating an entity for the listeners with strong percussions and extremes in his hypnotic genre full of unknown sounds and atmosphere.

A vacuum is the total absence of matter in a certain space or place, in which the density of particles is very low, such as interstellar space; or that of a closed cavity where the pressure of air or other gases is lower than atmospheric. If one wanted to enter the vacuum, all the air present would be so violently extracted that organs such as the lungs would be torn to shreds. The oxygen present in the blood would expand so much that the size of our bodies would be twice as large as normal.

The implications of the void and introducing something into it would be important, not to say serious. That’s what brings the sound of PEIX into play in his new release on Kepler Live. But this track is in the Neo Prasag core, which means that it has come out ahead of this vacuum. Or simply that what follows is the consequence of having entered the void, not of having emerged victorious. And in a way, this may be a plausible speculation if we pay attention to the rhythm and intensity of the closing track.

While Climax functions as an introduction, if we pay attention to its rhythms and intensity, and Enter the Void as a climax, Irreversible is the conclusion and consequences of having challenged the void. We are in front of a ferocious work, full of strands that only enhance the sound. Which speaks of a thriving, incipient sound design, always looking for speed, sharpness, and thick sheen. An incredible way for PEIX and Kepler Live to open this 2024 together.
