The time has come for a new various artists compilation from the Hxagrm Records catalog entitled Hologram, consisting of six original tracks and six different artists. The procedure remains the same: three new artists join three members of the Spanish label’s family. Arnaud Le Texier, Carara, and GO2 are the new acquisitions, while Groof, Alavux, and Amby Iguous are the old family friends.
Costa Ivanzov‘s musical career began playing hardcore and hardstyle music at school parties and local clubs. This stylistic choice helped shape his musical trajectory since then, which could be characterized by a dark atmosphere and a strong industrial influence. In his latest project, Amby Iguous, he takes a radical turn towards techno, which allows him to express a greater musical and sonic depth.
His style is marked by an experimental approach to club music that tries to blur its boundaries and sneak influences such as death/black metal and cinematic ambiance into his character. For Hologram, he presents Movements, which, in the words of HD Substance: “Last but not least, he puts the cherry on the cake with a superb vocal sample work with a Reese bassline; absolute magic for the best sound systems”.
Movement is the state of bodies as they change place or position; while its plural is movements, which refers to multiple states with that process or multiple processes of that same movement. The sound of Movements refers to multiple holograms that constantly teleport, producing a powerful enveloping sensation. When such movements become infinite, the space-time gap gives way, opening up futuristic cybernetic worlds and cyberpunk utopias.
