Kyrylo Yadov is the organizer of the Reactor_Rave party series in the Ukrainian city of Odesa. He started his journey as an artist inspired by his close friend Ilya Palii, who unfortunately passed away. Kyrylo continues his journey and explores the synthesis of sound in the world of electronic music and what it actually turns out to be. His sounds run from Hypnotic Techno, Industrial, and Hard Techno to Hardgroove. Now, his talent in sound lands in the Club Furies mix series.
Our mix series is called Cintas Furiosas – Furious Tapes, in English. They are inspired by the band from the cult film The Warriors (1979) called Baseball Furies, and the scintillating Imperator Furiosa, the iconic character from the fourth installment of the Mad Max saga, Fury Road (2015). Conceived as tapes that express a “furious sound”, both as a metaphor and as a sonic process, they acquire a special and unique fury with each artist they feature. With Yadov, the result is magnificent.
Intrepid rhythm at the beginning; fresh as zephyr and crunchy as terracea bark, it immediately gets us on our feet, moving the body progressively, even in mediated coordinates. Through explicit transitions, rhythm and sound enter the nebulae of night and rave, warning us of what is to come. Voices and atmospheres densify everything delicately and subtly. It’s time to cross to the other side, where the rest of the night, delirium and madness await us.
