Ket Robinson‘s prolific record label celebrates five years of existence. Renowned for its curation and versatile sonic rhythms, always looking for the difference in the familiar, it is one of our favorite labels. For this celebration, KR Records presents a Various Artists compilation, which compiles nineteen tracks featuring some of the most reliable artists in the catalog, as well as new additions.

Rooted in dark warehouse raves, modular engineered music, industrial minded, and with minimal social play, Crystal Geometry is one of the masters at this game. Just look at what kind of music he produces and where. For this celebration, he presents The Intelligence Briefing, a title that is evocative and suggestive. Intelligence Briefing… from whom and for what? All those semantics are now immersed in industrial, EBM, and rather dark sounds, which quickly take flight and stir.

The flight however is not upwards, but downwards. Towards the catacombs and the hell of dark electronics. And beyond the stereotype that sometimes tends to be referential, we can not fail to say that the sound of this track is incredibly dark. EBM and industrial nuances, crossed by high rhythmicity and always dense atmospheres, form an ambiance that refers us to visuals of abyss and deep cores.
