Club Furies Premiere: Unknownfunction/Empath – Rebellion [Limit]

A few days ago we presented our first exclusive premiere of the collaboration between Empath and Unknownfunction, called Evils of Capitalism. Its concept is simple, but not easy: «To prioritize human welfare over profit and accumulation». To this end, techno becomes impressionable as a sound in the service of people, not of a profit-driven control. This work of art was a result of an exchange between Finnish and Australian artists, which in sound was expressed in two different musical visions.

Dystopian and hypnotic deep techno for the liberation of corruption that seeks to find our own untouchable inner power. Once the manifesto is present in the first track of this work, it is time to rebel. Open sound design that allows patience and attentive waiting, as much as surprise and liveliness. Bubbling and booming latency that in the reticence awaits the moment anxiously. And vocals that lead the way.

Nostalgias make their way into a sonorous valley of silence after which rebellion emerges. Its moment is unclear, but it is clear that Rebellion‘s sound makes it incipient, exciting, and effervescent. The moment is imminent, and the sound utopia rises to the present, and the future to present unassailable, as well as inevitable. This double tracker has turned out to be an exceptional surprise, combining deep meanings and reflections with spectacular sound designs.
