Club Furies

The J A D E community celebrates several years of existence since its emergence in 2018. Now, they also celebrate two years of existence of their young label. Led by S T R K T U R, for the occasion, he has brought together artists with different views of what electronic music is all about. This compilation is made up of nine of his friends who have contributed to making this a quality release.

The closing track of this compilation is called WARP ENGINE and is the contribution of EKATA. London-based DJ and producer, resident of Natural Selection, whose productions are characterized by dark and atmospheric soundscapes, driven by pulsating beats and intricate synths. Determined to create supernatural, idiosyncratic, and futuristic music like that of a sci-fi movie, she always makes sure to tell a story in every track she produces.

In his productions and performances, he sticks mainly to the dark and disturbing side of Electro/Techno, which will take us on a dark and twisted journey through incredibly dystopian and ominous grooves and obvious sci-fi fixations that embody his carefully chosen selections. WARP ENGINE displays in sound a whole rhythmic engineering that emulates cybernetic circuits in constant dance.

Plagued by electricity and high rhythmicity, the sound is always constantly infusing itself with fuel, traveling through futuristic slopes and utopias that progressively approach the present. As the sound approaches valleys of silence, the circuits plot something, whisper atmospheres, and lunar ambiances. The energy has once again been revitalized and runs fresh through the galactic mountain ranges it has woven for itself, opening space-time gaps that end up projecting us to futures that are not in the present and pasts that end up being extinguished.
