Club Furies

Rarefactiøn is a DJ and techno producer based in Spain. He performs live sound, mixing and Live Sound engineering, Mixing and mastering. A former resident of Hed.onista and Abstract, his sounds are mental and raw. For his new release, he presents himself on the Spanish label in charge of producer DCM, Dissident Music, where he presents with the boss a long play together titled Human Being, composed of eight tracks, four each.

The human being, a cosmos in itself, is at the eternal crossroads of its duality. At the bottom of his soul lies a dark abyss where unbridled ambition and cruelty intersect, but a divine light also shines compassion, creativity, and innate goodness. We are the amalgam of these opposing forces, in a constant struggle for supremacy. But it is in the reconciliation of these opposites that we find the true essence of humanity. Recognizing our shadow allows us to embrace our light, transforming us into whole and transcendent beings.

This is the conceptualization of the work of DCM and Rarefaciøn, who joined forces to create their first collaborative album. Throughout the work, sometimes luminous and clear nuances stand out, while other times rough textures and abstract forms abound, representing the duality that characterizes human existence. Rarefaciøn‘s tracks are loaded with classic structures and patterns, with warm nuances, which bring to the release the elegance that defines his productions. DCM, on the other hand, offers his avant-garde vision of electronic music, full of raw sounds, but arranged with precision to make dancefloors vibrate.

Fix Yourself presents an opportunity to redeem the human being in his duality already from the name; but also in the sound. Sometimes warm, sometimes warmly raw and abstract, always with cleanliness and sonorous brightness. Always moving in the direction of distant utopias, those that account for the synthesis of the human being, in which his duality dissolves. Through an always velvety canvas, the sound manages to impose itself with masterfulness and power.
