After the J A D E community celebrated years of existence with the launch of its eponymous label with a Various Artists compilation, the second installment of this debut series is coming soon. And, if one Various Artist is always good, having two is even better! Let’s get comfortable and let our eardrums be pierced by this symphony of groovy bass and melodies.

Evan Keefe, better known as KEEFE is a techno and house producer and DJ based in Chicago, Illinois. KEEFE consistently blurs the boundaries between rave and house culture at his monthly residency at Chicago’s legendary Subterranean venue, along with his DJ collective Seasonal Frequency. He always keeps the energy alive at every performance, whether it’s a tech-house party or a full-blown rave. No two sessions are the same, but they all have one common element: great tracks. The Chicago producer presents Freedom for the second installment of J A D E.

Freedom imposes an accelerated rhythm and is free of taciturn rhythmic ties. From start to finish, only the valleys of silence imbue calm and tension parallel to the sound. And they do so to keep the dancers expectant and excited. With scintillating vocal samples, the energy is always kept at full throttle. In short, be forewarned that the energy expended on this track is tremendous.
