AXOON is known for his ambitious free spirit and owns his label quartal; he defines his vision of Techno as a producer and disc jockey, focusing on dub, ambient, hypnotic, and trippy Techno sounds. Now, he returns to Yantai-based Chinese label Indefinite Pitch to present a full-length album. It is titled Different Perception and is composed of five original tracks and remixes by ALPI, Balanca, Kontinum, DJ Datch, and MTRL.
Euplotes is a ciliate with a rigid body, it seems armored and never deforms neither to turn, nor to move, nor to dive among the lumps of sediment among which it finds its food. While the ciliate that is created by a drop of water is likely to correspond to the species Euplotes charon which has a broadly oval outline and is almost transparent. It inhabits areas of slow-flowing or stagnant water and when present is usually abundant.
These qualities of both euplotes and euplotes charon are present in the sound. Armored, stable, well carried; transparent, whose flow is placid, surrounded by warm and semi-cold waters. A sound that unfolds at pleasure, warm, cool, and relaxed. This produces frozen statics in cold lakes, in the middle of idyllic forests and tundras. Meanwhile, the sound continues its crackling, towards the absolutization of what it has proposed.
