The Parallel Thoughts series of Ricardo Garduno‘s experimental and intimate label, Thoughts., presents its fifth installment. This time the Mexican producer shares his creativity with Julieta Kopp‘s creativity. This fifth volume delivers fine Techno that she weaves progressively, reaching subtleties and frenetic deliriums really exciting. A perfect symbiosis.

Julieta Kopp is an Argentine techno DJ and resident of the renowned Under Club in Buenos Aires. Born in Monte Grande, Buenos Aires. Attracted by the electronic scene for several years, she entered in 2018 the Arjaus academy, to enter fully into djing. His style, entirely focused on the dancefloor, acquires a progressive sound with a deep, hypnotic, and powerful perspective, with serious kicks and marked atmospheres. His passion and overall dedication to the cause allow him to expand his vision and explore new sounds at every step.

These series are presented in a beautiful ten-inch vinyl edition. On each side, we have one track from the Argentinian and one from the Mexican. On side A, Julieta Kopp opens with Sigma Centauri. Sigma Centauri is a main-sequence star located in the constellation Centaurus. It is blue in color, which means that it is one of the hottest stars in the Universe, hotter than our star. It is a star that can be seen with the naked eye, so no telescope or binoculars are needed when looking up on a clear night.

Its sound in Julieta Kopp‘s sound design is powerful, structured by mallets that surround the sound and envelop it in densities that paradoxically turn out to be agile – the techno magic. The temperature that conditions the sound is similar to that of the star of Centaurus. And just when the heat gets too close to us, Juliet’s creative genius gives it a spectacular transition. From the abrasive heat of that star to the exciting heat of the dance floor.
