Club Furies

One of our favorite labels is back. Based in Spain, the Catalista sound platform, underpinned by the constant search for a step into the musical future, Rhod Records, presents its new release. After a much-needed break, they are back in the ring. Upcoming producer Matthew Hammond, also known as Telos, has come to present one of the new faces of the production.

This British artist based in Spain with a background in experimental music mutates minimal techno with experimental landscapes, to create new paths of techno. Minimalist techno with hypnotic roots in four DJ tools entitled Diffraction. Fast, effective, and clean. This is the proposal for Telos‘ debut.

The first song of this work is called Diffraction IV. Direct sound, concise, but at the same time screwing and hypnotic. Warm at times, and cold at others, it generates dualities that are synthesized in a single sound layer, wrapped in multiple layers that give it density and brilliance. In the end, the deviation of a wave when colliding with the edge of an opaque body or crossing an opening alluded to by diffraction encounters an impassable sound nucleus, diffracting in labyrinths that lead everywhere, but only to one at the same time.
