Mind Games Recordings is an independent record label based in Italy, founded by Luca Maniaci. The label’s mission is to release high-quality electronic music, focusing on Techno and its derivatives. Its Tabletten series with Various Artists compilations have been active since the year 2017. This time comes to the seventh edition, a selection of hypnotic grooves and sci-fi tones provided by ten artists from all over the world: Carara, CRØG, DASH3D, Elias Garcia, Lazly Bateman, Luca Maniaci, Ma Haiping, MAL_HOMBRE, Modiatt and Radical Axis. In the words of the Italian label: Fasten your seatbelts and enjoy the trip!

Radical Axis emerged as a fresh and innovative force, rising from the remnants of an old artistic identity. This artist embraced a new vision, characterized by a hypnotic and distinct style, and began to reshape and materialize his dreams. This artist based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, presents Unspoken Truth. How can an unspoken truth be expressed in sound?

Stranded somewhere far away from our Earth; time has passed, and we lost the coordinates of our control tower. Without knowing well what time and what place we inhabit, the sound of Radical Axis is a balm. Not because it provides us with an entrance to our place of return, but because it sonifies that situation – after all, we are talking about sci-fi techno. Sound bulbs refer to the farthest stars and ambient noises that are positioned in the infinite blacks of the universe. Accompanied by nervous latencies that make us alert in front of the unknown.

Jeff Mills said it not long ago: the future of techno is in the relationship of the human being with the universe, and one of that in sound is sci-fi techno. Mind Games Recordings has taken this perspective and developed its own. Radical Axis‘ Unspoken Truth projects us to the immensities of that future with clean, but at the same time wild, sound structures that reflect those situations.
