Club Furies

The next release is coming from Dynamic Form, the Spanish label that in the last few releases has presented great material, based on a techno that seeks to have its own mark. A short time ago we heard for the first time the sound of DSNGDMANN, the producer from San Fernando, Cadiz (Spain). It was the penultimate release of the Argentinean label UCKER, and several collaborations on the Spanish label Loopaina Records.

This time it was Bad Society, a collection of three original tracks and a remix by Dutch producer R/D/V. It represents times of oppression, disunity in society, angry thoughts, and gratuitous criticism towards the unknown or the opposite of one’s ideals. We could take over one of the demands of art towards the audience: interpreting what the artist makes available to us

Let’s take a closer look at the title of the three tracks: The Power of Unity, Bad Society, and Involution. If the power of unity is not successful, will it lead to a bad society and therefore to involution? Three tracks that try to swim against the tide with riding percussions, distortions, and metallic sounds that feed on the constant tension and the struggle of drums. For now, let’s stick with the sound of Involution.

Let’s move away a little from the semantics proposed by DSNGDMANN, and concentrate on the sound. Latent volcanic eruption, which threatens with portentous explosions. However, all this shocking becoming is mediated by the sound design of the Spanish producer, who knows how to maintain the expectation and the mystery. That which nevertheless hides explicit manifestos. In the end, all of this reaches unassailable deltas. If we see it from the proposed perspective, the sound seems to take us progressively through that process that starts from the first track and ends in the third.

With productions like these, DSNGDMANN continues to attract attention to his sound, no doubt, including that of Club Furies, who will now be more than attentive to his music. And, on the other hand, it is another step forward in the curation and sound of the Dynamic Form label.
