Andrey Sirotkin is the deep techno and leftfield house/techno artist we need to know. Music enthusiast, producer, and DJ based in Kyiv, Ukraine. He has been active in the industry since 2004. A curious person whose approach to life – a constant desire for discovery and experimentation – is reflected in his music. His values of love and kindness are the basis of his art, guide his creative process, and shape the sound and message of his music. He also explores other genres such as ambient, IDM, experimental, breakbeat, and electro.
One of his recent releases to be published is Please Remain Calm, a work signed to the Spanish label Diffuse Reality Records. A collection of four original tracks of which we present the premiere of A is for Acid. A perennially unstoppable Roland TB-303 knob-driven groove that dynamites the entire track immediately. Starting with alarms that warn of what’s to come, they barely do the job, because what’s to come catches us off guard to some extent.
It is a smelting of sonorous steel made possible by the heat of the acid that the sonorous structure is capable of supporting. If this isn’t a frenetic start, we don’t know what is. Now, this is the sine qua non-quality of this track, and therefore of this work.
