Berlin-based producer Carara – also known as Darkflower, and half of Modern Dynamic – currently living near Aachen, being resident of Musikbunker / Hotel Europa Aachen and H 14 Würselen. Carara‘s electronic techno is very powerful and dynamic. His sounds are usually very raw, dark, and with some dark underground vocals. With releases on some of the most important labels in the underground techno circuit, he now presents one of her freshest releases to be released.

Carara returns in top form to Hxagram Records, after appearing on the Spanish platform’s Various Artists compilation, Hologram. He presents a six-cut extended play of intense, dancefloor-oriented techno, with no interludes or ambient introductions here. Pure straight techno pulp for the high moments of the dancefloor. This work is steeped in multiple influences, from rough Birmingham beats to central European nineties flavors or even some sci-fi techno.

YSP 001 is the track that opens this sound universe of Carara. The sampled voices rest on a relentless Groove, constant and perennial. It is accompanied by synthesizers and drones. In its evolution, it is an unstoppable force, which shows at the same time ferocity and patience. Ferocity in the rhythm and patience when it comes to blunt in its most biting deltas. Its duration can be extended on the floor ad infinitum. A sonorous delight of shocking implications.

In the context of the whole work, it is the track that is more focused on the dancefloor. It is presented without complications, and at the same time manages to have enough complexity to activate the floor. The other tracks play with elements that take us to other mental states, and to other states of the dancefloor and of the night. Between the vicinity of its climaxes and the moments when the night becomes day.
