The boss comes home! We’re talking about Signal Rec, one of our favorite labels, hosting again, after a while, a job from the boss. Drop-E returns home with straight techno for the label’s next release. Drop-E evokes states of suggestion thanks to the harmonious interplay between his hard-hitting kicks and devastating sequences of debauchery as if falling into a cosmic abyss.

Jupiter Ascending is made up of four original mixes, with a sound that unsettles the ears about perception and the notion of space with a not-easy, self-regulated discourse. Till the End is the opening track, and right from the start it announces what’s in store, already announced by the boss. This track has all the elements of a good underground techno track. It is direct, unpretentious, and hypnotic, but not tiring.

Through a sound design that maintains constant lines, they manage to adhere sound layers that allow them to generate a texture rich in variations and different elements, which imbue it with creativity and uniqueness at the same time. With a fleeting semantic halo of sci-fi, already announced in the title of this work, but with clear beats that place us in those atmospheres. And hammering rhythms that become perennial. Lost astronauts, with their decaying ships, and only the sound of Drop-E, who returns with masterfulness.
