Club Furies

SHURIKEN – is an electronic music label based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, whose motto is «Hidden Grooves to be found». The shuriken word is Japanese and refers to the star-shaped weapon with protruding blades or points, used as a missile in some martial arts. In Japanese, it literally means «dagger in the hand». It is also a fundamental part of the visual aesthetics of this new label, which has a Various Artists compilation called Fuerzas Armadas Auditivas, and which is defined as «limitless future, a horizon of possibilities and endless creativity-音楽の無限未来-«.

Now, following that first volume, comes the second volume of those Fuerzas Armadas Auditivas. Composed of six original tracks, this time it is defined as «six people, six colors. To each his own -六人六色-«. A sonorous work of art that we have been able to listen to in its entirety. Some words we can tell them: freshness, electricity, and energy always revitalizing. Among his jewels, the Argentine producer and DJ, currently based in Barcelona, Spain, Stefano Andriezzi, co-founder of the label Island Beats Music, stands out.

Known for his ability to create unique and immersive sets, combining genres such as electro, house, acid house, and techno, he performs at SHURIKEN –, where he shows his love for music and his tireless search for new sounds. He presents La Doce, a track of just over seven minutes in which happiness, idyll, freshness, and green meadows become sound. With a mix of house and electro, but subtly, also entrenched in the openness and versatility of styles.

The extension of the track offers the opportunity to deploy all the sound layers that the structure can enable. Without falling short, or asking for more time. In sum, it’s a track that is entrenched in the sounds that the new label offers; not limited to a straitjacket, but with a clean and well cared for sound design. The exploration of a wide variety of styles is evident, making this a versatile and passionate artist.
