Here comes the next release from Prophet Recordings, the Italian label created by the need to express music without market filters, for an artistic techno expression. Focused on electronic-techno sound research, being able to give an outlet to hypnotic, dub, and Detroit sonorities, presents the edition number five of its Various Artists series entitled Ritual Act. From different parts of the world, united by the same vibrations.

Ritual Act V includes 18 tracks from different artists with some Detroit, Dub, and Sci-fi influences. A4, Alexander Kowalski, Alexey Dunchyk, Booz, Divide, Gianmarco Silvetti, Hugo Rolan, Metapattern, Mist Gasp, Motion Symmetry, NWHR, Oblivian, Oisel, Operator, Roman, S_h_u_u_y_a_, Tehotu, Zvrra, are in charge. I must say that having listened to the whole compilation, it is impressive, both for the curation, as for the sound and the quality of each of its sounds.

Divide is Davide‘s alias of Italian duo Syntaxis, a bridge between old and new generations. His sounds range from Sci-Fi Techno to 90’s Techno, characterized by minimal sequences, heavy drum patterns, and precise sound design. The Italian artist presents Prometheus. Prometheus, in Greek religion, is one of the Titans, the supreme trickster and god of fire. His intellectual side was accentuated by the apparent meaning of his name, Prometheus. In common belief, he became a master craftsman, and in this sense, he was associated with fire and the creation of mortals.

That Greek god who gives his name to Divide‘s track is expressed in a sound that emulates effervescent fire in the inner skirts of a volcano. At the same time, it takes us back to distant, unknown, and frightening galaxies. The sound structure is so well crafted that it manages to create clean, bright, crunchy, and very deep atmospheres. In such strata, space-time tunnels are formed, drilling the sound waves, forming Rosen-Einstein tunnels, which subsume us in their timeless coordinates, full of hypnotism and brilliance.
