The Parallel Thoughts series from the Thoughts. label, in which the prolific producer, and one of our favorites in the underground sector of world techno, Ricardo Garduno, expresses his more experimental and introspective side. For this series, he shares that spectrum with another artist. Each one presents two tracks. Vinicius Honorio, Jonas Kopp, Developer, Alexander Kowalski, and Julieta Kopp in that order have been in charge – pure heavyweight of world techno.

This time it brings another heavyweight. It is the Colombian artist Alessan Main, better known as Gotshell. A producer of mysterious and deep sound that has been formed in the dark and cold nights of Pereira, Colombia. He is a great ambassador of the Colombian electronic music scene. Inspired by the first wave of old-school techno, mixing the advanced sound of the genre and expanding deeper into even more electronic and instrumental styles of music such as IDM, ambient, experimental, and dub, among many others.

Gotshell is an artist who always hopes to maintain an aesthetic and refined composition of underground culture. Now it’s his turn to be the chosen one for the sixth edition of these releases by presenting two tracks, Duende Verde and Tratamientos Acidos, for the twelve-inch vinyl release. Tratamientos Acidos point to something that is treated with acid. Powerful, crunchy, dark and mysterious. That’s the first stage of the treatment.

Thicker, denser, and more introspective drops cause extensive psychological tribulations in the listener. Meanwhile, the Roland TB-303 continues to show its sonic potential. Delicately the sound fades into silence. And from there slowly to the sound of outer space, finely layered and spectacular. So the sound is an incredible synthesis of techno, acid, sci-fi, and experimental.
