Club Furies

The first Various Artists compilation from the interdisciplinary music, art, and events collective and record label based in Berlin (Germany) has arrived. We are talking about re:flect, which arrives now with a very extensive collection.

syyymo is a DJ and producer from Italy, living in Bristol, UK. He defines himself as follows: «I just use my laptop and a Bluetooth speaker to produce my music». Founder and crew member of Family Three from Naples. Always open to receiving messages, and seeing them frequently, and happy to build relationships as well as exchange production tips and feedback, he is already indeed one of our most loved for his kindness and accessibility.

syyymo presents Remembrance. Remembrance works as making something past present; that is to say, it is the re-actualization of a meaning and an already experienced experience, which has been registered and stored, and which deserves to be updated as a present meaning. In the sound, the first part of this track plays with that; rummaging through our memory, searching for the past in the midst of nostalgic and very ethereal atmospheres.

Abruptly, the rhythm accelerates, changing the whole atmosphere. The memory has been found. It remains to dance of happiness, and with a persistent and scattered design, but at the same time, precise, the sound takes us to the dance hypnosis. This is enhanced by the length of the track, which ignores the mainstream of electronica, and lets feel its underground imprint. Time will be the time that will be.
