EABE presents its new release. The Finnish label, with its focus on renegade sounds plus its diverse approach to electronica, premieres its work led by Finnish producer Mikael Vilja. Regulation‘s minimalist approach ensures that every sonic element is carefully crafted and purposeful.

With Mikael Vilja employing various advanced production techniques to achieve the EP’s signature sound. Expert use of delay and reverb creates a dark and introspective side of techno. Modular equipment is used to add organic unpredictability to the loops and sounds. Regulation EP is an immersive experience that balances stark minimalism with dark and atmospheric elements.

While the first track, Regulation, sets the tone with a pulsating bass line and sparse, resonant percussion, Enactment presents a hypnotic, minimalist melody amidst a haunting backdrop. Always inchoate and exciting, and at the same time fun and expectant. It progressively takes us into a taciturn hypnosis, one of those that lead us to deep, but relaxed dreams. Fear not, that’s just one of the steps to a very well-put-together techno labyrinth.

It’s Norm‘s turn, who closes the EP, combining a constant and pulsating rhythm with otherworldly synthesizers.
