Diego Oroquieta‘s relationship with music began at an early age at school, playing various instruments (guitar and piano), showing great versatility in it. His musical influences were marked by his parents and older brothers (mainly rock, metal, and electronic). In 2015 he decided to explore new musical facets, starting his career as a DJ. In 2019 he decided to deepen and find his own sound, taking music production classes, where he found his sound identity, techno.

Now, he landed on the label led by Ricardo Garduno. Our beloved label Illegal Alien Records presents its new release. It is Chilean DJ and producer, Diego Oroquieta, who presents his debut on the label with a massive six-track EP titled Danza de Gatos. Diego is undoubtedly another incredible talent coming out of Latin America. A release with a disturbing sound, very well anchored in the sound waves, with versatile rhythms and very well carried by the sound design.

Ipso facto in deep densities and low oxygen environments. The humidity of the environment is extinguished little by little, while the dancer feels challenged by the sound. The sound layers swirl in the midst of this environment, which at the same time becomes cleaner and cleaner. In this way, he reaches the delirium and the synthetic recomposition of the sound.
