Mind Games Recordings has always been a home for real talents, sometimes more «consecrated», sometimes less. What the Italian label has certainly always been interested in is the music, not the popularity of the artist. That is the way, and that will be the way, despite the fact that our environment and the whole world is going through a difficult but necessary evolution.

For their next release to be released, they present the first release of Serbian artist Opseg, the new alias of the former Perk project, who has released a couple of tracks with the label before. A four-track collection called Fidelity Is Paramount, which is completed by Chilean Marcelo Antonio, an artist who needs no introduction thanks to the quality of his music and his excellent releases on major labels.

Social Decay is embedded in the Italian label’s accurate diagnosis of the world around us, starting with the name, which also has its own perspective, that of the Serbian producer. It is the fourth track of this work and the one that follows the remix. The sound is quite apocalyptic, full of unassailable mysteries, and reverberating sound structures, which allow a deep hypnosis.

With a length of five minutes, one of so many qualities is that it extends in the psyche for more than a lifetime. This means that its spatio-temporal dimensions dissolve into one’s own, causing an enviable immersion and epojé. If you like dystopian atmospheres, deep hypnotic melodies, sci-fi alien vibes, and massive beats, you will love this release.
