Two of our beloved Mexican artists are teaming up again. From Oaxaca, Javier Martinez, and from Tamaulipas, Vleks, come together again after presenting their EP The Silence with Badmoiselle, which received praise on Beatport by being charted in the best playlists. Now it’s Horns, which presents a melodic sound, that does not leave aside the acid tints that characterize them.
Vleks is an artistic project that takes hold through a sonic experience that envelops us with bass lines and pronounced dark features that invite us to the inner explosion. Under the slogan «techno meets rock», this Mexican producer has established himself strongly in the Mexican scene, multiple presentations, and releases on national and international labels..

Javier Martinez is a disc jockey and producer based in the city of Oaxaca, Mexico, who titles his electronic music project with the same name. He performs a mix of various genres, such as House and Nu Disco. His DJ sets and productions are full of joyful sounds and deep beats. His sound is characterized by creating a kaleidoscope of sounds and cultures in constant change. While his peculiar way of playing has led him to perform in renowned clubs around the Republic, as well as major labels of the local and global scene.
Together, they present an original track, as we like it, which is complemented by a powerful remix by Cosmosolar, the alter ego of Argentine DJ and producer Alejandro Gamba. He was born in Patagonia, Argentina, currently residing in the university city of La Plata, where he has a great trajectory.

Horns works as a sound catalyst, which makes him a vector of diverse rhythms that he manages to synthesize, without losing the complexity of each sound layer. It is gentle to the ear but latently disturbing. As it settles in stardust, in the middle of a Space Disco, it reaches silence, and from there, it explodes on the dance floor. Shrouding itself in halos of faint and subtle darkness, it continues its flight to the top of the dancefloor.
Measuring the hearts of the dancers, smelling the sweat, feeling their movements. And with such intensity, he seeks refuge in the comfort of nostalgia, and the serenity of silence, whose sound leaves our souls full. The remix of Cosmosolar makes manifest the latent of the original mix.
In his productions Cosmosolar is carried away by the human-machine experience in the creation of musical sequences, with the aim of achieving «what you feel on the dancefloor». Through solid structures, with strong rhythmic roughness, melodies, distortions and synthetic dissonances that invite us to a Dystopian Space Techno Disco trip of psychedelia and trance. It’s all about climbing and dancing to the frequencies that unite the earthly with the cosmos; that’s the essence of it.

With lower and more explicit basses and a very fresh energy, it reverifies the original sound. The same intensity with which the original sound reaches the climax and the heart of the track is noted, but loaded with more thickness and more overwhelming atmospheres. However, that doesn’t limit the sound from feeling snappy, fresh, and electric. After that explosion, artist, sound, and audience reach sound immersion, where their distinctions dissolve and become one.
Another great release from Chaos Candance, their second, which augurs the underpinning of a well-established Mexican sound, and helps the country’s scene continue to make itself heard around the world.
