Nicko Shuo is a DJ and producer from our dear Russia, St. Petersburg-based. He began his musical journey by experimenting with different styles of electronic music. Over time, he became attracted to fast techno with a tempo of 140 beats per minute. Captivated by the hypnotic and raw essence of this genre, Nicko Shuo has developed his own sound.

Recently featured on the Desert label, he now lands on the catalog of the Portuguese label Underdub Records. It features a collection of four original tracks called Ambrosia, complemented by remixes from Amour Noir, Asmodeo, and Empath. Hidden Meaning is the track that opens this sound world of the Russian artist.

Machines dancing with themselves in a dance that becomes overwhelming. In the midst of industrial buildings left to their own devices, and societies that long ago were. Cloudy environments, with dry rains and closing skies. Times frozen into oblivion, and machines beginning to restart. Hidden behind Hidden Mening are dense, delirious, tight sounds, and very well designed for a deeply unsettling immersion.
