Nicko Shuo is a DJ and producer from St. Petersburg, Russia. He began his musical journey by experimenting with different styles of electronic music. Over time, he became attracted to fast techno with a tempo of 140 beats per minute. Captivated by the hypnotic and raw essence of this genre, Nicko Shuo has developed his own sound.
Recently featured on the desert label, he now lands on the catalog of the Portuguese label Underdub Records. It features a collection of four original tracks called Ambrosia, complemented by remixes from Amour Noir, Asmodeo, and Empath. A few days ago we presented you the premiere of the track that opened this sonic universe. Now it’s time to present one of the remixes.
Amour Noir is a techno artist based in Lyon, France. Producer and DJ for ten years, he has changed his alias to this one since a few years ago. He is the founder and director of the label Unusual Record, with a wide musical spectrum. This project allows him to open up to all the inspirations offered by the current of electronic music to further refine his creativity.
For his remix on this work of the Portuguese label, he takes the original Rupor, which is intense, deep, enigmatic, ambient, and drone. The French producer takes the original influence to immerse it in frozen places, both in the environment and in space and time. In this way, he manages to reconvert everything into the coordinates of his sound, which reaches ethereal notes. Very delicate, subtle, and sharp, from beginning to end. Everything at the end reaches a synthesis that evokes the deepest feelings and sensations, with an enormous warmth.
