Renzo has earned a prominent place in the Mexican Techno scene. His great achievements in the industry as a DJ, producer, and manager of Art-Net make him one of the most interesting and mature artists that can be found in the Mexico City underground. A creative mind, who transforms deep sounds and atmospheres full of rhythms and arpeggios to position his own sound. In 2019 he created Art-Net, a project focused on digital art parties.

For his part, the sound of Mexican Mogo has been characterized by Drvg Cvltvre as one that best characterizes the hypnotic sound, far from the hustle and bustle of such sound. One of our favorite producers, with releases on international labels, owner of Tlaloc Records, presents his collaboration with Renzo. Yes, Renzo and Mogo present a double tracker titled Technical Problems, composed of Technical and A Trip To The Stars.

Technical is a sonic labyrinth of all the technological advances in electronics, from the futuristic Marinetti and Russolo to the digital revolution and its creative expansion in the minds of all the artists who have shaped it. In its most concrete form, it achieves a duality between the hypnotic and the harsh, agile and vibrant, progressive and raw. With delirious peaks of intensity and apocalyptic valleys of silence, it positions itself at the top of the sound, while its structure throbs club.

A Trip To The Stars involves stranded spaceships and astronauts lost in psychedelic psychic journeys. Palpitating at the beginning, with an incipient rhythm, disturbing but exciting, dynamite extraterrestrial volcanic lava. Once the sonic chaos has stabilized, it progressively reaches lakes of frozen fire, in which it subtly raves. The trip has lost us. We do not know if we are here or there.

The atmospheres have nevertheless been transformed. They have been loaded with Tron: Legacy meanings, while the club has become a rave, and our ship has ended up in sands and rocks that seem to be a combination between the extinct German GDR and abandoned Mad Max wastelands.
