MAUER is a DJ, music producer, and creative force of SENSOR Records. His musical odyssey begins as a producer and composer. Then MAUER has delved into a myriad of musical styles since his youth. However, it was the pulsating allure of techno that finally seized his affection. MAUER‘s dedication to the decks was ignited during an inaugural pilgrimage to the legendary Berghain. With every session he plays, echoes of Berlin’s electrifying club culture can be heard: a fusion of mesmerizing hypnotic beats and the exotic pulse of ethnic percussion.
His artistic evolution knows no bounds and he boldly experiments boldly across the musical spectrum, recently venturing into live performances. For one of his most recent releases, to be published by his label, he presents Dreamy Stories, a collection of several tracks among which I highlight Whisper. Whisper is a rotor of mood and ambiance throughout the work. Always delicate and subtle but with energy and potential sensations, as well as nuclear.
With a very well-managed sound design and wide as well as versatile sound structures, the sonic layers expand the possibilities of the sound, as well as its rhythmic and nuanced deltas. All in all, a spectacular track. Wait to listen to the whole release: one of the best of these weeks.
