Club Furies

ANAØH is a music label based in Mexico, led by Mexican producers Fixon and Dig-it, artists with a long trajectory in the techno scene. Born in 2016 with the aim of exposing music of the highest quality, with conceptual releases and delicate sound designs that allow to sound natural landscapes, through soundscapes.

For ANAØH, art, in any of its expressions, is the human being’s attempt to emulate nature and its beauty. That is ANAØH‘s idea: the relationship that exists between Art and Nature. «Big cities force us to take refuge in the beauty of the skies and the harmony of the wind». For their most recent release in physical format, cassette, they present the Uruguayan artist William Arist.

Originally from Uruguay, Wiliam Arist debuted in ANAØH as a remixer in 2023. A year later he joins the family in full form with Memory Tapes, a work of five powerful tracks, which are techno music in its purest form, traveling through different landscapes and textures designed in Latin America. Two additional tracks are an introductionand an an outro, which makes us say that we are in front of a serious work, and plus that reflects a piece of William Arist‘s soul, and that gives shape to a techno-conceptual release.

These tracks have been remixed on the B-side by artists that the Mexican label loves and respects deeply, for the work they are currently doing, but also honoring the careers they have formed in recent years. They are: AINT.S, Alexander Johansson, Mattias Fridell, Conrad Van Orton, Uvall and OFF / GRID.

Cassette plays with the format of this work, as well as the original conceptual influence with which William Arist worked for this sonic universe. It is a sample of the sound of the Mexican label, but with the individual seal of William Arist‘s art, who knows how to modulate the speed and agility of the sound, so that it recodes into mysteries, conceptualism, and overwhelming fictitious realities.

This duality achieves a hypnotic, enchanting, and sui generis rhythmic bubble. This takes us to a kind of parallel reality, submerged between dance and introspection. One of the releases of the week, no doubt, which also always comes enhanced by the art design of Fixon Moheno and the beautiful physical format.
