Obseth is the project of Victor Alvar, a young producer and DJ born in A Coruña (Spain). Highly influenced by old-school electronic music, Obseth reveals his vision of techno through productions that combine the fast and frenetic rhythms of Hardgroove without losing the essence of the golden age of the 90s and early 2000s. After two years in which his music has been supported by numerous artists of the scene, Victor discovers the most visceral side of techno whispering this alias. His productions are based on raw sounds mixed with deep textures, a fusion that will transport us to a state of hypnosis.
Almost three years after his debut on the artistic platform Diffuse Reality Records he returns to present Lose Control, a collection of five original tracks. The homonymous track opens this sonic universe, which is followed by Lost Signal. One of the ways to lose control is to lose the signal if we are on remote communication devices. In the sound of this track, this means that the signal has been lost, but using very fine and delicate controlled decontrols.
With barely five minutes of duration, the capacity to handle such a conceptual correlate in the sound is spectacular. With sonorous layers that complexify all its structure and enviable handling, the constructed sonorous skein is very striking: between the delicacy of the ethereal and the strength and rudeness of techno.
