Subosc Records is an Italian label founded by Kaelan in 2012, conceptually based on classy and hypnotic techno. With a considerable catalog, and reference of this type of sound, one of his newest releases, presents Vidění, a young Italian DJ and producer currently based in Barcelona, Spain. A very talented artist not to be missed in the coming years, who began experimenting with mixing records at a very young age, attracted by the role of the DJ as a figure diffusing new sounds, an attitude that is manifested in his current perception of music.

In constant search of sounds not yet heard, he immerses himself in the infinite world of variants of electronic music, until he finds his current passion for mental, hypnotic, deep, and ambient constructions. His sound can be defined as an enormous ocean of textures directed by unconventional rhythmic structures in which light, darkness, tension, organic elements, and infinite emotions coexist.

Vidēni‘s EP presented by Subosc Records is called Ethereal Nature. It is a captivating journey through ambient techno landscapes, inspired by the natural world. This collection of four tracks (The River, Waterfall, Mountain, and Wood) blends ethereal soundscapes with subtle, pulsating rhythms. Each of these tracks invites listeners on a meditative journey, exploring the intersection of electronic music and natural phenomena. The EP showcases Vidēni‘s talent for layering textured sounds and smooth rhythms, resulting in an atmospheric experience that transcends the boundaries between the tangible and the ethereal.

The ethereal is the subtle fluid, the invisible, the imponderable and elastic that was supposed to fill all space and, by its vibratory motion, transmit light, heat, and other forms of energy. While nature is the set of properties and characteristics that define the essence of a being. If we put these two words together, we arrive at dense and complex meanings.

For now, I am interested in highlighting the sonic power of Wood, the track that closes this work, and completes it. Wood fills the forest trees, cold, temperate, and humid. While its existence in the cities gives that reminder to the human being of what should not be forgotten. That is how the rhythm of this track works, constant, hammering, incipient. At the same time, the rest of its sound layers take us back to the primordial origin, where the being was nothing more than nature, in the form of water and wood and their combinations.

In the end, everything is suspended in the nothingness and the everything, with a sound degraded to silence perfectly. In this way, Ethereal Nature offers a contemplative aural exploration, perfect for listeners seeking a blend of ambient depth and subtle techno rhythms.
