Club Furies

The desert label continues its steady pace of releases. Arido Records presents Diego Azambuja Siehe, better known as DAS, producer and DJ from Buenos Aires, Argentina. A resident of Unterwelt Techno and founder of Dissolved Mind Records, he is the protagonist of the next stripe in the Arido Records catalog. This is the forty-sixth release from the label.

It is a collection of four original tracks called Awakened Mind, plus a remix by Argentine producer Haber. In this EP we find the sound that characterizes the label, that is to say, deep rhythms that wander between Sci-Fi and drone. Between dense and cinematic atmospheres, accompanied by sequences full of groove.

Fireflies are insects known for their luminescence, that is, they generate light, usually intermittent, that glows in a species-specific way. Fireflies is the track that sits at the heart of this release and is our favorite. It is the recoding in sound, particularly in techno, of the flight and existence of that beautiful bug that emits light.

With a dense, heavy, and complex framework, it achieves at the same time techno agility for flights, mental as well as bodily. This makes it a versatile and ambivalent track. Between the inside and the outside, Fireflies is a fierce track, full of its own quality and brightness, which distinguishes itself from the others, and at the same time is part of that same universe.
