The worldwide label led by Ricardo Garduno presents its new EP series, the Split. We are talking about Illegal Alien Records, who presents the first edition of From Other Lands, this time led by 1FM and DJ Saint Pierre. Each pair of tracks is a spectacular universe in itself. When you put them together they collide into a beautiful unity of difference.

1FM is the alter ego of renowned Mexican musician and producer Yuri González. Born in Mexico City, he has expanded his musical career in various cities around the world, but mainly in Guadalajara, Mexico. 1FM is the result of Gonzalez’s former project in the 2000s, Fat Naked Lady (FNL), which was part of the iconic electronic music collective Nopal Beat. Yuri had the incredible opportunity to play on the most demanding and sophisticated dance floors in Europe and America (Rome, Madrid, Venice, Serbia, New York, Havana, L.A. Benicassm, Barcelona, and Mexico).

With 1FM he embodies a new facet, more focused on old-school techno (raw techno, peak techno, drive techno), in which hard beats merge with dark and deranged atmospheres that identify this genre. The Mexican producer is in charge of presenting Cannonball Symphony and Fainting Glimmers, our Premiere of this release.
