Club Furies

French producer _GODO introduces himself as «music often speaks better than words». For one of his most recent works to be released, he presents In Between Realities by Wrong Theory, an EP that features four captivating tracks, and with deep personal meaning, both for the artist and the label. Beyond the music, it reflects _GODO‘s connection with Wrong Theory, a label that represents a safe space for artistic freedom and exploration.

The fact is that The Barcelona-based Spanish label encourages artists to push the boundaries of what techno can be, allowing them to fully express themselves. This environment inspired _GODO to delve deeper into his sound, resulting in a unique evolution of his sonic identity, which he describes as a new color on his palette.

Through In Between Realities, _GODO maintains the hope that listeners will connect with the emotions and energy contained in these tracks. Each piece is a personal expression, crafted with intention and shared with the world. This EP not only shows the evolution of _GODO‘s sound but also the spirit of creative expression that defines Wrong Theory.

Intuition starts strong and very incipient. With an enviable intuition about the sound, with which for instance asserts that a fact such as the ocean is false, denying it a quality of reality, or that reality has been altered. In sound, the security with which it has been designed translates into very powerful sounds, very rhythmic and very thick. They are dense, but not too dense: they are in sum precise.

The sound progressively reaches sonorous valleys of brilliant pasts, immersed in what no longer is, spectacular techno nostalgias and cybernetic crackles that announce utopian futures. And when the rhythmic delirium reaches its climax, both to the speakers and to the psyche and the body, the sound recedes.

However, don’t worry: it recodes the intensity poured into parallel channels, to take the heaviness out of the alter and dump it back into its sound. In this way, Intuition is a sonic vision of temporal couplings, seeing what was, and what is to come, amidst unique electronic semantics.
