The electronic music platform that is based on techno and deep sound pillars, which are directly related to ambient sounds, and nature, and have depth in mind, returns for its usual monthly release. We are talking about Indefinite Pitch, based in China, originally from Germany. They feature Spanish producer Overturn who presents Aerials, a collection of five original tracks.
An antenna is a device that can emit or pick up electromagnetic waves and is used in transmitting or receiving devices. While a hemisphere is each of the two halves of a sphere divided by a plane passing through its center. Could we say that the sonic task of this work is the emission of artistic sound waves toward one of the halves of the sphere from somewhere? A forced interpretation, certainly.
Let’s stay with the sound, which certainly emulates this process of wave emission, but with calm, subtle, and very deep rhythms. Sound strands that are built progressively, and that expand. The final effect is an immersion of perception in sound, as well as a full ambiance. Sound, perception, and environment become one. While delicacy, progression, and careful sound design are the means of it.
