Not Charlie has been exploring various subgenres of electronic music for years and ventured into amateur DJing in his hometown. This artistic alias finds inspiration in various corners of techno. His style leans towards dark, mental, and at the same time rhythmic sounds with forcefulness. He sees music and sound as a means of personal expression, seeking to convey his emotions and liberate himself through rhythms and melodies.

Constantly stepping out of his comfort zone, he continually experiments with new sounds and techniques, always eager to expand his musical horizons and incorporate fresh ideas into his work. Not Charlie is a member of the Granada-based collective Grakken GRX, where he joins other like-minded artists in promoting an authentic approach to electronic music while maintaining its raw essence and integrity. Together, they strive to preserve the very essence of techno and share their passion for the art across borders and cultural barriers.

For one of its most recent releases, Diffuse Reality Records presents Estrecho Cognitivo, a collection of six original tracks with an already very suggestive title. Cognition alludes to knowledge, to the fact or effect of knowing. So talking about this process by adding the quality of narrow, can mean a sharpness in this process, which at first sounds very striking. However, we must not get lost in the language, because the sound is pressing.

Paying attention to the titles of the names, we also find suggestive names. The sound of Corazones Perdidos is techno finesse and sophistication on several levels. In the sonic layers; in the way the rhythm and the dancer are carried; in how the texture is modeled; and in all the perceptual correlates of such sonic structure. Through valleys that reach depths full of emptiness, crunching mountain ranges rise up and dynamite everything, amid ethereal atmospheres that leave us expectant.
