Club Furies

The label based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, whose sounds are techno, electro, and breaks, RI7MO, releases its new catalog number. It is Victoria Mussi who presents her new extended play, Die Frage. Born and raised in Asuncion, Paraguay, Victoria Mussi has been a fundamental pillar in the creation of cultural spaces that celebrate music and audiovisual arts. Co-founder of the Inbetween label and the Tango club, she has been at the forefront of initiatives that seek to strengthen and expand the artistic community in her country. Her music, a mix between house, techno, and ambient, is always oriented towards emotional exploration and connection with her audience.

For her work in RI7MO, within some of her explorations, are the floor and introspection. This release reaffirms her unique approach to electronic music, blending the introspective techno and experimental atmospheres that have established her as one of the most influential artists in the region. The EP consists of two original tracks: one experimental, exploring the sonic and sensorial limits, and the other more dancefloor-oriented, demonstrating the artist’s ability to adapt to both introspective and energetic club moments.

Accompanying these two tracks are three remixes by some of the biggest names in the electronic music scene: MVRPH and Sam Pelpack, also known as Juan Trujillo, both Argentinians and Not A Headliner, one of the most prominent names in electronic music in Spain. These remixes complement and expand on the original ideas of the EP, each bringing their own stylistic and personal twist to the original compositions.

Die Frage can be translated as «the question». Their sounds are calm, introspective, and full of halos that raise mystery and enigma in the atmosphere. House, Techno, Breaks, and Electro are combined in a very suggestive and attractive way, with a complete sound. Through their layers of sound, the energy increases, causing introspective journeys to become agile dances and bodies sweating side by side. On the other hand, it has a sophisticated and very well-worked sound capacity, which is noticeable in the development of the sound and its peaks and valleys.
