/antariksha/ is an uncountable noun meaning outer space. It is the name of the space-based music label with a control tower in Delhi (India). While Safar Collective is a multidisciplinary artistic community created in 2021, which was formed under the idea of exploration through experimentation, based in India.
Together they present a joint release by Bangalore-based DJ and producer Anmol Bhat, better known as XS. It is Existential, an extended play of two original tracks and four remixes by I7HVN, Flux Vortex, and Aezron.
In the artists’ and label managers’ own words, «This release explores the human condition, unraveling the intricate ways in which we navigate the labyrinth of existence. It challenges the notion that meaning is an external gift and asserts instead that it is a deeply personal creation, forged in the crucible of choice and experience. Musically, the album traverses the lower end of the sonic spectrum, from abstract jungle-inspired atmospheres to the murky undercurrents of DnB soundscapes, culminating in club-rocker melodies.»
