London-based label Duplicity presents the new installment of its Various Artists series, Quinctus; the fifth installment. This time the collection is massive, with over 40 tracks that will fill our collection with fine and sophisticated music, as only Duplicity’s curation can do. Despite the length, the quality bar is kept very high: 42 of techno’s best faces with a mix of formidable dancefloor pieces, effective tools, and elegant hypnotic compositions curated in Duplicity’s usual style.

Club Furies Premiere: Alessio Landini – Numb [Duplicity]

From Spain, Madrid-based techno lover Laura Lane presents Astral. Fine sonic swords fly over the atmosphere… at the beginning. As the sound is covered with layers of sound, the same materials increase the speed, causing the atmosphere to become thinner, and more sophisticated. This is set against empty backgrounds and bright fronts.

All this forms an impressive skein, which becomes sonorous stardust that crosses our perception, with such delicacy that the speakers feel caressed and simultaneously astonished by the sound design’s quality.
