After bringing you the return of the Various Artists series from London label Duplicity, we are back with a second cut of the 42 in this massive compilation. The fifth installment is called Quinctus, and features the best sides of techno with a mix of formidable dancefloor pieces, effective tools, and elegant hypnotic compositions curated in Duplicity’s usual style.

Club Furies Premiere: Laura Lane – Astral [Duplicity]

Introducing Berlin-based DJ and producer Konstantin Scharf, who presents C-Falter, which alludes to that species of butterfly belonging to the Nymphalidae family. We are in front of the techno flight of this butterfly. First with trepidance, agility, and a lot of security. Once it stabilizes in these coordinates, it enters into taciturn and hypnotic phases.

Between incipient space-time tunnels, time stops; the fireflies shine and expel their sound. The sonorous butterflies become embedded in the whole environment, and our psyche begins to be not of us, but of the sound of Konstantin Scharf.
