Club Furies

After several releases in the Fields series -four to be precise: Vertigo by Nao Nhil, Reaching Petra by Ignacio Tardieu, Diffraction by Telos, Mares y Tormentas by Tripulante79- from the Spanish label Rhod Records, it’s time for the third installment. This time it is an Various Artists compilation, an exercise of intelligence and exploration in which the label’s established artists are joined by new artists who, in the near future, will have their individual debut.

Club Furies Premiere: Atoms – Relatos Inconclusos [Rhod Records]

This series arises from the need to offer a space and form of expression that are becoming more and more relevant within electronic music. Deep sounds and cadences, in which the emphasis is more on the collective than on individuality. In this way, each cut joins each of the others in a unique symbiosis and interrelation. Tools for the DJ with a special and deep essence. It is a complete work that explores the same idea from different angles, creating a unique sonic experience.

Obsessive Brooding is the collaboration of KOTEC, one of the heads of Rhod Records. When one is invaded by a thought, which becomes recurrent or not, but which settles deeply in our psyche, and we can only turn it over a thousand times, it becomes an obsessive thought. If we allow ourselves to be absorbed by it, we become involved in tribulations that can extend ad infinitum.

That is the starting point and development of the sound of this track. Depth that extends; dense, interlocking layers of sound that compete with each other, causing a tight knot and skein. And thoughts that become infinite, and very adherent. It is one of the many qualities of the sound of KOTEC and Rhod Records, dense, rough, and at the same time, deep, subtle, and sophisticated.
