Club Furies

Audio Magnitude is an established record label in Barcelona, Spain, that showcases deep, dark, and hypnotic producers from all over the world that it trusts and values highly in the international techno scene. This time it’s the label’s sixth release, led by Circular Shape, an artistic project rooted in textured sounds and soundscapes, and based in Lyon, France. Waves Of Uncertain is called and is comprised of five original tracks, which are presented as follows.

«From the first beat, there is a sense of descent, not into darkness, but into depth. Layers are built with intention, revealing a space where dense resonances and slowly unfolding patterns bend the perception of time. This new release from Circular Shape delves into a zone where rhythm is anchored and the mind is let loose. A dialogue between the repetitive and the mutable, built for those who listen with the body and dissolve into the sound. There is a quiet intensity in the details: subtle changes, buried textures, and echoes that never quite resolve. It’s music that doesn’t demand attention, but draws you in just the same, like a distant signal guiding you through the fog.»

Fundamental makes room for itself and claims for itself from its name a fundamental space. Probably as a foundation or as a sine qua non, the pulsations of sound start from the calm -as in frozen, placid, and uncrowded lakes-, but quickly swell until they find better heights and deeper depths -probably mountain ranges and subterranean lakes. And just as quickly as we get there, we descend in pace. In such a way that the mutant and the repetitive become apparent in a duality that is exciting.

And in that game and sound design the sound and its layers progressively reach the ethereal, the subtle, the delicate. From where they seem to stop time, decoupling it from our known time, taking it to the design of Circular Shape‘s sound art. This is not gratuitous, since Fundamental is one more layer of these waves of uncertainty, those that navigate the sound, since technology has granted them the privilege of being infinite.
